Hello! New and need advice on how to handle pain?

Question

I have been having years of pain, that have been increasing, and despite test after test, from the OBGYN, to the GI doc, to blood labs, CT scans, endoscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasounds, ER visits, it’s been bad.

The last three weeks have been debilitating. I was at the er almost every night, vomiting, in serve pain and pressure in my pelvic and lower abdominal area. Eventually, a new OBGYN saw me at the same clinic I go to, and looked over everything (notes and tests from the women’s clinic and ER) and did an exam and betting on I have endometriosis. (I thought it was PCOS, but she said that whomever gave that to me confused the two cause my ovaries are fine)

She scheduled me for surgery (please forgive me I don’t remember the name, think it starts with an L and a camera tube goes in the belly button?) to confirm and see what she can do. And a second opinion with a new GI doctor as well.

Please I am in hell. It feels like no one understands. My family and boyfriend feel lost and the doctors can only give me pity. I have not been able to hold any food down, I’m stuck in bed crying over the pain, I constantly feel pressure and like I gotta rush to pee even though I went 15 minutes ago, and no matter what I try, I can’t get comfortable enough to just exist.

Is there any coping and things I can do to just stay okay until the surgery? Both for my physical and mental health? Any encouragement? Thank you so much.
