Any advice for fixing a Samsung QLED tv with the left 10% of the screen faulty?

I have been given a broken Samsung Q60D because the left-most 10% of the screen alternates between colored vertical stripes, solid grey or solid black. Changes every few minutes. I don’t know what the original owner did to break it, if anything.

Any advice on fixing it? Diagnostics and restarts don’t help.

If I whack the back of the TV, the stripes change which is weird. So I assume it’s a hardware issue.
