Canon Pixma MG2922 troubleshooting
I got this printer secondhand (which was my first stupid mistake) and it's not working. I have ran the installation as admin and I cannot get a connection to be formed. Even though I am using a USB A to B cord connected to my laptop and printer. The error light always stays amber, never flashes, the Wi-Fi button does not work (which is why I'm doing USB connection instead), and the stop button doesn't do anything after pressing it for thirty seconds. I have unplugged this printer overnight and tried the same thing in the morning, this same issue has came up. I've been told this printer type has been a pain in the ass for many and I am now understanding why....
I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the canon programs, ive also tried to set up the printer from my settings and the test page I try to print is always received with an error.
If someone could help I would be very appreciative as I don't want to buy a new printer if I can salvage this one. I do have Discord for communication if this gets to the point if I need to be spoon-fed step-by-step instructions. QuQ thank you in advance
