COVID Vaccine Appointment for Kids (under 12)

Just got back from getting my son his COVID and flu vaccination. He does qualify under the phase 1. I made his appointment by calling 811. It took a few tries and being on hold to get through. For kids you must do it this way. The government is being extremely strict over the kids doses. The clinic we went to only has the pediatric doses on site 2 days a week. The child's name has to be on a specific list or you get turned away - regardless of if they are in phase 1. The nurse did ask if we qualify and what conditions but didn't question further. Please be nice to the staff as they have no choice in this distribution. It's going to be a gong show as likely not enough pediatric doses will be available for demand.
