How to cope with discontented, precicious mover
My baby is six months old as of last week, and she has been crawling for a month. She has also been pulling up to stand, and basically that’s all she wants to do. She started rolling at 3.5 months and has been unstoppable ever since.
Her personality is: into everything, always on the go, zero chill. I love her to bits but I feel like she was a baby for five seconds, she was happy for seven, and she was easy for maybe a week. The newborn period up to six weeks was a nightmare because of feeding struggles, she screamed for hours every day. Then she refused the boob and was ok for about a month until she rolled.
Every now and then I meet moms with babies like mine but most times I am so jealous of their cuddly, happy, boob obsessed babies. At baby groups she is a menace crawling all over other moms and babies, but at home she is even harder to deal with. I am feeling very down about it atm.
Is anyone else’s baby like mine? How do you cope? Does it get better when they walk? Am I doing something wrong?
