PC Constant Crash and Audio Bug (PLEASE fix this)
Okay ill walk you through exactly what's happened to me so far, and others have expressed online ive seen.
Booting up the game for the first time I had an AWEFUL audio issue where everything sounded tinny and off, super obnoxious and definitely unable to play effectovely like that. I spent 2 hours or so troubleshooting and had to do a variety of things including disabling Windows Spacial Sound/Sonic while also having to turn ON loudness equalization in my headphone properties in the control panel sound menu.
Finally, that was fixed (it seemed). Normal audio, very nice.
Then the next issue happened. I was mid game on my 2nd match of conquest when the game just crashed. No stuttering, no issue at all. One millisecond I was shooting a gun the next I was on my desktop and the game was gone. No error, nothing. Task Manager showed everything normal even just before the crash.
Then, a few matches later, again.
I have about 8 hours into the game between last night and this morning and it is consistent. I cannot play more than about 15-20 minutes between matches or it will crash. No resource issue in task manager, nothing. Just completely mysterious crashing. So, after digging online I decided to increase the size of my virtual memory page file just to see if that helped. It didnt. Now when it crashes, it crashes to BOOT, not even just desktop.
So, more digging, and I repaired EasyAntiCheat in the folder in admin mode. Do you know what happened next?
That's right kids, the audio issues are back. And the craziest part is that the settings I changed to fix it in the first place are still in effect. So I have absolutely no idea what to do next.
But there is a serious issue with this game that, idk if its because I play with Bluetooth headphones instead of wired or dedicated dangle, because my wired shitty ones work fine, but man does it make this suck a lot.
I habe tried everything from reinstall to verify to messing with all the settings in the NVIDIA app and absolutely nothing works. I have scoured the internet for any fix and tried all of them and nothing works.
Since its not literally everyone having this issue, but those that do have a variety of different cards (2070ti runs fine, but a 4080 has the crash, but another 4080 doesnt, etc) im not tempted to say its a "bad pc" issue.
I dont know if its because I am using Virtual Memory, or if its because of the headphones, or what. But regardless, this shouldn't be happening and the Devs really need to look into this. Its literally unplayable not just in the whiney soyboy way.
