What kind of services can you offer as a solo developer with skills in software as well as electronics/IOT

Hey,

im trying to figure out what kind of service-based business or freelance offering makes sense if you are strong in software development, IoT, electronics and PCB, but don't want to get into:

- traditional web agency

- on-site electrical installations

Basically im looking for ideas where software and IoT meet practical value for small or mid-sized businesses, but without needing to build massive systems. I'm a 4th year engineering student in software engineering and a background in electrical engineering.

Has anyone here done something similar, like lightweight IoT dashboard, process monitoring tools, SaaS-type services or other services using AWS etc. I would love to hear:

- what types of problems businesses actually pay to solve in this space

- what kind of small scale services are in demand right now

Any advice or inspiration fromn people who've gone down this path would be awesome and it would really nice to get in contact with other people with same skillset or are building projects in this same area.
