Research Advice for Family Murder from TCB Team?
y’all, i am SO IMPRESSED at your research. i think i started being impressed at Hallmark’s research pretty early on, but since the team discussions you posted (last year?), i realized how truly sophisticated the team is.
my husband’s uncle was murdered in 2022, and i am started to collate all the publicly available info so i can separate it from hold-back info* we (the family) have as we start to publicize more to keep the case in the public’s mind. we are hoping to both maintain pressure on the investigation, but also encourage anyone who knows anything to come forward.
my question for the TCB team or anyone with relevant experience is this: how do you recommend processing, organizing, and linking data?
i have newspaper articles and audio reports, as well as the aforementioned “probably best to keep it private” info. right now, i’m transcibing with AI tools, and saving files in Google Drive, mostly because it’s so searchable. i’m also interested in mind map tools (how do you visually memorialize established relationships between facts and people and theories and timelines?!), and i’m interested in tools that may work better than Google Drive, like OneNote, Notion, etc??
*i’m not sure that what we have been told by investigators or anything the family observed at the crime scene is “official” hold back info, but there are details we have that i’m pretty sure is not public knowedge.
