Watched the pilot, soon to read the comic

I have never read homestuck but have been around alot of people who LOVE IT despite saying how bad it is. Just now i decided to watch the pilot and quite frankly i love it.

I know it doesnt make any sense nor does it show me where its going as a show, but the music, voice acting and animation is just so gorgeous. Even though the Pilots new it still looks outdated in an old internet way. Plus i love visual abstract animations.

Before going into reading Homestuck, must i be given any warnings?
