PSA Sabre 10a1 VS Saint Victor

Hey guys.

Currently look at the Sabre 10a1 and Saint victor trying to decide between them.

My father spoke to a gun shop owner who says that he’s seen issues with the PSA barrel (not sure if that specific to the 10a1 or PSA in general). This is all second hand and apparently no details were shared, which I found strange. One factor I’ve considered is he would likely profit more off of the Springfield than the PSA. Anyways,

Have you heard about barrel issues?

My father bought a saint victor and I was pretty disappointed in quality of the finish. Typically I don’t care about such details but at $1.5k or so I expect better. It looks almost like the finish is too thick in areas.

Do you have an opinion on either way? Have you seen/heard of barrel issues in the PSA?

Are there other rifles I should consider in this price range?
