My story

I just wanna say this and get over with it. Like to know what u guys think. 8 years ago landed a good job in an international company and in the first office party got drunk and blacked out. Got warnings and shit was bad. Fast forward 8 years, excelled at the job, every task was successful, did masters but same position with normal increments once in a while. and one day tragically met an accident at work and became semi disabled (lost a limb) The company still supported with prosthesis and still work there. But now I feel I can do better and think there is not going to be any progress because whatever has happened. What do u guys think????? What should i do?
