How I turned Reddit into my best marketing channel (without spending a cent)
At the end of 2024, I was tired of ads.
I wanted real traffic, people who talk, not scroll.
So I turned to Reddit.
My first six tries failed.
Each post got flagged or banned.
Then I realized Reddit isn’t about links. It’s about trust.
So I stopped promoting.
I started posting stories, lessons, and behind-the-scenes updates.
I joined niche subreddits, shared what I was building, and only mentioned my product when people asked.
That simple shift changed everything.
My posts started to get replies.
One thread sent 609 visits in a single day.
Others brought 200–300 visitors from pure discussion, no links, no ads.
That process became MediaFa.st, the SaaS I now run at $2k+ MRR.
It helps founders use Reddit like a community, not a billboard - finding the right subreddits, building story-driven posts, and syncing them with X and LinkedIn for a full organic system.
Reddit now brings me consistent traffic and loyal users and it costs $0.
It just takes patience, real stories, and the right rhythm.
