Should i ask her out?

so theres this girl i know since we were like less than a year old and weve always been really good friends. we talk a lot and part of a friend group with another girl we met at 2yo.

when we were in elemantery school (4th grade) we talked less and then we started talking again in 5th grade and thats when i said that we obvs wouldnt be together and were friends (just randomly idk y). now (9th grade) i started to have some feelings for her. i kinda know her taste, tall blonde muscular, im none of these (im not fat just not muscular) and im very short (3rd shortest in my class, shes like 10cm higher than me). also her taste is purely older ppl (i mean im older by 2 month but thats irrelevant).

im not considerd ugly by any measns but my height is usually the limiting factor.

if she will decline itll be very akward, we ride to school together everyday (usually with her dad, we talk a lot of football together), were in the same class, we live rlly close by and im rlly scared itll ruin our friendship is she'll decline.
should i ask her out?
