So a friend of mine got married last month. On the invites, she specifically wrote No black, it’s bad luck and too funeral-like.” Okay, fine, fair. Everyone showed up in pastels, florals, beige, you name it.

Then she walks in wearing… a black, sparkly ball gown. 😭

We just looked at each other like heyy ???

Her reason? “It’s midnight blue under the lights.” Spoiler: it wasn’t. Even the tablecloths were lighter.
