AIO i haven't heard from ldr bf in almost a month

Hi! This is a throwaway and I'll keep the details to a minimum to hide our identities. My bf and I have been official for just a couple of months but we've known each other for a year. Before being actually together, we were talking romantically on and off since we met. We reconnected then finally got together.

Though a VERY close family member of his had a medical emergency and later on passed away. Since then, I haven't heard from him and it's been almost a month. I didn't even hear about the passing from him, his friend told me. Then about 2 weeks later from that, I also learned from his friend that my bf's family member who's been terminally ill since last year had passed away too.

AIO if I think we're no longer together? The thing is, I don't want to leave him in such a vulnerable time but I felt like he's already left and I'm just in denial.
