i’m terrified to start again
i was on cymbalta for several years and responded pretty well to them the whole time. i was on and off of many other antidepressants beforehand to manage my severe anxiety/panic disorder and depression. i also have migraines and many antidepressants made them worse, so i ended up on cymbalta. i’ve now been off of it for 2 years, i had been doing really well and tapered very slowly. now im having horrible panic attacks that have now caused agoraphobia again and i feel like im going back in time. but now my anxiety is so bad that starting the meds again is giving me awful anxiety— i dont remember how it felt to start the meds the first time around. my anxiety now is making me feel sick every day, im nauseous from it and have no appetite. it’s been awful and im so scared of the cymbalta making me feel even worse. i know i need to just bite the bullet and start it so i can feel better asap but i cant help but feel terrified. i’m supposed to take 30mg for one week and then up it to 60mg after that and see how it goes (i was on 90mg previously). can anybody who started that dosage tell me their good experience? some side notes, im on propranolol twice a day for migraine prevention, and i have a zofran prescription as well that i may end up using. i also have klonopin but i feel like ive been taking that too frequently which is probably leading to rebound anxiety. thank you to anybody willing to share their experiences!
