National Coming Out Day

Optimistic Post

October 11th has been National Coming Out Day in the United States for 37 years. It is a day that celebrates those in the LGBTQ+ community for whatever stage in coming out they are in. From those still holding their truth close to their chest to those who live openly everyday of their lives. This day is for you. 2025 has been a long and painful year for many in the LGBTQ+. I’ve had several friends choose to stay in the closet this year because of fear, and that’s understandable. As both a trans woman and a mod here I just wanted to say that this sub continues to stand with the LGBTQ+ community. And I want all our members who are lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, intersex, ace/aro, or any other part of the community to know that no matter where you are on your journey, you are loved and there are people fighting for a better world for all people.
