Connection problems

Hi guys!

I just received an iPod 120Go (I think it’s a 6.5 gen) and I’ve been encountering connection issues.

I am using an iPhone 4 charging cable. I’ve tried to:

• connect it to different wall plugs with different voltages
• connect it to my MacBook Air M1 with a usb adaptor
• connect it to my windows pc (no adaptor needed here, direct usb) And none of those were making it charge. It had half battery in it when I received it so I guess it can still take the charge, but I’m wondering if there is an underlying issue… I managed to put some juice in it thanks to my projector usb port but then it stopped charging…

I’ve ordered a new cable to try, but it will arrive in a few days.

Have you any ideas if those are bad signs?
