Saw in half / token multiplier interaction
I was playing my [[Myrkul, Lord of Bones]] deck today and did a fun little combo that had the table in a bit of disagreement over the sequencing. In the end we agreed on my intended reading, but I wanted to double check here I got it right. Situation was:
I had Myrkul on the field and I warped in [[Exalted Sunborn]], then hit it with [[Saw in Half]]. I had the two creature token copies of Exalted Sunborn enter, then used Myrkul's ability to create an enchantment token copy of it as well - only now it was four enchantment copies due to the two creature copies I'd just made. In total I ended up with six token doubling effects, meaning for every token I created, I actually created sixty-four. This lead to a pretty swift win.
After the game nobody was salty, but a couple of people were curious about whether it should have resolved differently, and whether that would have actually meant more copies. The questions were:
Should the two initial token copies created by Saw in Half should have doubled each other or themselves?
Should Myrkul's ability have triggered before the Saw in Half copies were created?
Any insight would be appreciated!
