This unit was kindly sent out for review, this won’t affect my opinion on the product.

Thanks to MCHOSE for this opportunity.

I’ve been using the MCHOSE ACE 60 Pro keyboard for the past five months, and it’s been one of my favorites, so I was genuinely curious to test this mouse.

* **Contents of the box**

1. MCHOSE L7 Ultra+
2. 8k hz Dongle.
3. Type A to type C cable.
4. Grip tape.
5. Manual.
6. Warranty Card.

* **Mouse shape and base.**

The shape of the L7+ is the bigger version of the L7, very reminiscent of the Sora V2, with a high back hump that tapers down through the rest of the shell, leading to a low click height.

In terms of width, the back is the widest point, narrowing down until the sensor then it flares out slightly for the remaining part of the shell, this can be easily noticed when looking at the base.

It was a very comfortable shape for my 18x10 hands using a relaxed claw or aggressive claw grip, with relaxed claw the grip is more locked and finger mobility is pretty limited because of the width.

On the other hand it offers a lot of finger mobility when using aggressive claw, this was my preferred grip when aim training as I usually switch between fingertip and claw grip; for both, the hump helps with stability and doesn't get in the way when using fingertip.

The base features a centered sensor placement that aligns with the narrowest points on the sides. It also has a DPI button and a 2.4G/Off/Bluetooth switch, the skates pre-installed are 100% PTFE and glide very well.

* **Build integrity and coating.**

The build integrity on my unit is nearly perfect, there is a slight flex on the sides if I push extremely hard, this is unnoticeable during normal use. Very impressive not only for the weight (47g on my unit) but also the price, the shell feels extremely solid and high quality.

The coating is very good, the best I've tried in this price range, it's very grippy with warm hands and not a dust/dirt magnet in my experience.

* **Primary and side clicks.**

The primary clicks on both versions are Omron Opticals, they have very very subtle finger grooves with a light feel and very tactile. Side wobble is very minimal, with no pre-travel and some post-travel if you push at the very edge. The side buttons have some side wobble but with no pre-travel and very little post-travel, they do not sink into the shell.

Overall, the implementation on both primary and side clicks are astonishingly good for this price range.

* **Scroll wheel.**

The scroll wheel, with a TTC Gold encoder on both versions of the mouse, has a rubberized finish with a medium-light scroll force and a medium-hard M3 button. It sits low and the forward position is good both for aggressive and relaxed claw.

* **Weight and balance.**

My unit weighs 47g with the pre-installed skates on, it would probably be around 44g with dot skates, for the price and build integrity this is incredible, the Pro+ version on the other hand is advertised at 45g.

The weight balancing is perfect, slightly further back to the center of the side buttons, aligning with the sensor at the narrowest points of the mouse, which are the natural resting points for both your thumb and pinky when using an aggressive claw grip.

* **Software.**

It uses a software web with 4 pages:

1. Key remapping: all 5 mouse buttons can be remapped to keyboard binds and macros.
2. DPI: 6 DPI profiles from 200 to 42000, you can also make separate X/Y DPI settings.
3. Performance: includes settings such as motion sync, waveform control, line correction, sleep time, LOD height (0.7-2mm), click debounce (0-20ms), polling rate (125-8khz), mode selection (performance, gaming and extreme) and rotate (sensor angle adjustment)
4. Other: firmware updates and pairing the receiver.

* **Performance**

The mouse performed extremely well, the tech implementation was better than any other budget mouse I have tested, I didn't experience any wireless interference or performance issues.

I mainly tested it on Fortnite where the side buttons felt very responsive, with good tracking and crosshair placement, which transitioned well into Kovaaks and Aimlabs.

* **Conclusion**

Overall, the L7 Ultra+ delivers performance and build quality far beyond what I expected, making it one of the best value-for-money mice currently available. It’s ideal for people with big-medium hands for claw and/or fingertip grip. My only complaint is the lack of a 250 mAh option on the Ultra+ version.
