Am I the only one who actually doesn’t mind that infinity castle is split into movies rather than seasons?

Just looking at how recent seasons have been executed in the past…. I can’t imagine having the last two arcs (the most intense arcs given that it is the final battle and there will be a lot of tragedies) into episodes that have the Taisho Era secrets (known for being lighthearted and fun) at the end l of each episode that would disrupt the moods. And I can tell that sometimes unecessary moments or humor are inserted lazily for fun into the past two seasons and

Also, I found the movie format to be a nice change from the episodes since the time limit of 2+ hours has it that the execution of the story is done in a more straightforward manner than having some goofy breaks or frustrating cliffhangers like the episodes. Yes the pacing was the biggest criticism but as a manga reader it’s very proportionate to the manga (shinobu’s fight was only a few chapters long while akaza was at least 20 chapters long).

I wasn’t too thrilled when I heard that the lasts arcs of the show would be adapted into films rather than seasons so my expections were a little low in terms of pacing but imo the movie did fine even thought it dragged. Any imperfections seemed to be made up by the top tier animation and soundtrack.

Yes the IC movies could be split into episodes (and it might be released into episode format like Mugen Train) but I don’t mind sitting for a few hours watching some peak rather than waiting each week for an episode. That’s my opinion, tho.
