Take the offer or keep negotiating?

US Sale

I want to buy a 2026 Honda CR-V Sport Touring. I’ve been in contact with a dealership. MSRP is $44,100 and their online price is $39,600. My initial out the door number was $41,740 (no add ons, tax, tags, title and fees included) and requires me to finance through Honda. I asked for $40,750 with gap insurance included. They said no and offered $41,500 no gap (their gap is $1,200). I’m comfortable with $42,500 (gap included). Should I just send that request or wait and see if they change their mind? They’re closed on Sunday so I can wait and follow up on Monday. I already have an approval through my credit union 6% and $499 for gap. If I use my financing I forfeit $1750 in rebates. If you used Honda financing, how was it? When you finance through the dealer can they increase the rate like they do with the money factor for leasing? Will they try to match my current rate if I let them know I have a check/pre approval? This is all online, will going to the dealership allow me to request more off since I’m close to closing or still negotiate via email?
