Is it normal to still be having allergy symptoms ~5 months into allergy shots?

This is probably a dumb question but I want to know everyone else’s experiences.

I’ve been getting allergy shots every week since late May. I sped up the process by getting 2 shots a week but i had to stop because it was making me very nauseous.

I had to transfer my allergy medicine vials to a new allergy office because I’m back in college now and I missed a week due to getting things in order.

Basically I still have my allergy symptoms some days, albeit less severe, but I was wondering if this was normal and if it’ll get better ?
