LG DS95TR soundbar sounds worse than TV Speaker (LG G4)

Hello everyone,

I`m trying to figure out, if something is wrong with my soundbar LG DS95TR as it sounds extremely flat around the mids and higher lows, where the subwoofer can`t help out. (Everything with standard settings, but i also tried all tuning options, non helped significantly)

As a little test, I just disconnected my subwoofer from the power line, so that I will hear only the sound of the soundbar itself. And it sounds awfully flat, worse than a cheap bluetooth speaker. Even the integrated TV speakers of my LG G4 (bought the soundbar and TV as a bundle) delivers way more lows and lower mids in comparison to the soundbar.

For such a huge soundbar i`d expect it to deliver already way more power in all frequencies than the TV speaker itself would deliver especially considering all the good reviews. Also i went to an electronics store today and even the smaller series (DS..70) sounded way better in my opinion.

Could someone please do the same test and tell me what your experiences are in comparison to your TV speakers or if it in general still produces relatively "good" balanced sound? That would be of great help, before initiate a service request. =)

Btw. the TV also had an issue with it`s HDMI 1 port which ended in another service request, where they had to replace the mainboard, so i wouldn`t be surprised if they f...ed it up two times in a row.... XD
