No display after accidentally resetting BIOS
Hey everyone, I really hope someone here can help me out. I bought a brand new PC today. I installed BF6 right away, but I had to go into the BIOS to enable Secure Boot in order to play the game. Unfortunately, I must have done something wrong and accidentally reset the BIOS.
Since then, I’ve had no display at all — the PC powers on, all fans spin, but there’s no image, not even when I plug the HDMI cable directly into the motherboard. Also, the DRAM LED on the motherboard stays lit.
I’ve tried pretty much everything: turning the PC off and on again (even unplugging it and holding the power button for 10 seconds), resetting the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery, reseating my RAM sticks… basically, everything I could think of.
Here’s my setup:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F (3.7 GHz / 5.0 GHz)
- GPU: KFA2 GeForce RTX 5070 1-Click OC
Has anyone ever had a similar issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
