Monteverde Capless Gel Skipping

Hi all,

I've had this Monteverde capless gel refill in my Sheaffer pen for about 2 months. It's been a delightful pen to write with, and I use it often. Weekly, I will usually sign a few signatures, but every other week or so, I'll write letters to clients.

Today, for the first time, I'm having trouble with it skipping like badly skipping every 15 words. "L, P, Q, T, H, W, J" are all affected. Have I just changed how I write today, or is this a common issue with the Capless Gels?
