Hello! So my Wife and I have recently been wanting to create a terrarium, so we went and got a decent sized jar, cleaned it out, and rinsed it well. We then went to a local creek and got soil, a few rocks, and uprooted a couple plants that were in the creek and put them into this terrarium. The water we also used was from the creek, it was looking very well for the past 5 days and then today suddenly everything looked dead. I dont know what we did wrong. We gave it only indirect sunlight and I read direct sunlight would be bad for temperature change and would harm the plants, so we only gave it indirect light. (I just put it in the window today for a bit to try and save it but) I followed a ton of YouTube tutorials on making them and looked at some posts on here for information and i cant figure out where we went wrong. The plants were imbedded and standing up and bright green. Any help is appreciated! Thank you! Attached in a picture of what it looks like now😔
