Bpd & perimenopause

Just as my pwbpd is making progress with counseling, perimenopause becomes an issue. She goes back and forth with “it’s not my hormones!” And freaks out if I even insinuate such. To, “it makes sense that my hormones are out of whack. My mood really fluctuates when it gets close to my period and the hot / cold flashes are becoming extreme”

According to her, that could be part of the reason our sex life in almost non existent.

I bought her this supplement bundle for women’s health. They are for libido, something for around that time of the month, and a multivitamin. She took them once and have been on top of the fridge since.

She’s had a bloodwork appointment scheduled twice and canceled the last moment. Could have gone today but “didn’t feel like it”.

For all the crying, fatigue, anger, etc., you’d think that if getting your hormones checked would be a no brainer but after today, I’m convinced that she wants to suffer. She doesn’t want to get better.

I know that even if she did get her hormones regulated, bpd would still be there but it would give us one less thing to worry about.

Why am I the only one in this relationship working towards her feeling better? Fucking exhausting.

I’m afraid that it’s going to get to a point where I’m just numb to her crying.

I see it like someone continuing to bitch about a headache but refuses to take an aspirin..
