Why is it hard to get find hookups anymore?
Maybe it was always so difficult but for some reason, I feel that society as a whole has really stigmatized and destroyed hookup culture... I (M20) am honestly not an unattractive person, nor the hottest person ever, and I an get around decent enough but I'm single and looking to go into the military, just waiting on orders, and want to hook up so I download some dating apps and make accounts. I am trying three but one seems kind of dead so I'll only bring up that I am trying Tinder and Feeld right now. But why is it that it takes so long to get someone to look at your profile? I know people might tell me to go and meet people in person but I feel that, at least anymore, it's not as approachable to go and meet people in public especially for someone kind of neurospicy, maybe that's just a confidence thing? But I also don't see why it is that Tinder or Feeld are supposedly so good for hookups when Tinder seems to be full of "Wants Long Term Partner" or "Wants Long Term Partner, Open to Short Term", which I honestly don't think they are open to short term anyway... and, not to mention, no one seems to look at the notifications anymore? Call it cash grab or call it something else but I'm seriously wondering if I'm doing something wrong here. Keep in mind, not a crash out, I'm just super confused here...
