Nautilus Hybrid 2025 Sales On Hold?

Went to local Lincoln dealer today to potentially buy a Nauti Hybrid 2025, and the sales people said they couldn't sell them. Something about a recall where the Hybrid doesn't make the "faux motor noise" to warn pedestrians when in battery mode.

Sales manager said it might take a few days or a week for Lincoln to send out an over-the-air software update to resolve the issue.

In all of my ~30 years buying cars, I never heard you can't buy a car with an active recall. Anyone else getting the same treatment?
