the abby and max debate

this is a abbymax post btw

in my opinion we can't determine who did who wrong the most when it comes to abby and max until we figure out why they had issues (long before the marcus situation) in the first place.

i am biased and i will say that im on max's side when it comes to abby and max when it comes down to season two especially after learning more about her in season three BUT in my opinion we can't determine who did who wrong until we figure out why they had issues (long before the marcus situation) in the first place.

this is an unpopular opinion but max wasn't wrong for being upset about both of them no matter how much they apologized because if my best friend hid the fact that my other friend cheated on her boyfriend who happened to be one of my good friends with my TWIN i would be livid and would probably never forgive them. my only issue with max was her not really vocalizing just how much the situation hurted her she hid it behind all of the dramatics and ppl wasn't taking it nor her seriously. ppl only started sympathizing with her after her episode in season three.

now this isn't me fully taking her side at all because how she reacted towards the situation did do damage on her friendships with norah and ginny because now they just think that she was dragging it on and being dramatic and now they don't talk to her about important and serious and even exciting things going on in their lives because they don't think that she changed even though max apologized and fixed for her behavior

now abby.. i feel like they've been setting abby and max up to get together (if you don't like it then oh well) and i believe that this is going to be the source as to why they've been acting the way that they have pre marginny off topic (not really) but notice how norah and abby kissed at that halloween party and max was looking at them weird (i don't remember why she was making that face it could've been because of the weird comments the boys made but i think it was because she was confused)

i feel like something happened with abby and max which most likely was a kiss when they were drunk or them just kissing in the heat of the moment and max could've been confused about her feelings after and wanted to talk about it but abby had shut it down saying that it meant nothing and that they didn't need to talk. max just agreed and they moved on about their lives but max mentally pushed her away and hanging out with ginny which abby didn't like and then add all of this to the marginny situation and you get a recipe for disaster. this could also explain max's confusion when she heard and seen her with tris.

it could be something else and i'm wrong but whatever it is that was the issue in season four they're gonna finally have that conversation (which will probably be an argument) because i feel like the only way for mang to repair is if abby and max fix whatever problem they really have with each other
