A serious question (not a joke): Is a fish out of water feeling the same panic as a human underwater?
We all know the terror of drowning the panic, the fight for air. A fish pulled from the water experiences the same thing: suffocation. Its twisting and frantic jumps aren’t “just reflexes”; they’re a desperate attempt to live. And if we ignore this simply because we don’t hear a scream or because its expression is unfamiliar to us.
