Boss Od-3 so noisy

Hii so i just bought a used sd3 cause i was looking for some kind of flat drive, however the knobs on this pedal make some kind of scratchy sound when i roll it (same sound if your volume pot guitar gets dirty), and the noise is insanely louder compared to sd 1

Anybody had any idea why? Thx
