What’s the scariest thing you’ve experienced that no one ever believed?

I’ve been reading a lot of horror stories lately, and I’m curious — have you ever seen or felt something that you know was real, but everyone told you it wasn’t?

It doesn’t have to be ghosts. Just something that still gives you chills when you remember it.
