Which to choose: Sigma Art 24-70 Gen 1 or Gen 2?

Hey everyone! I just sold my 24-105 G f4 and am looking for either the Gen 1 or Gen 2 Sigma 24-70. I did all my research but am still in between these two. I need the lens specifically for video for my FX3 and am mainly curious about the autofocus. It is gonna be an all around lens for me.

Is the autofocus so much better on the newer version? Or is it actually a better investment?

Price-wise I’m looking at either 934 EUR for the V1 (from MPB) or 1039 EUR for the V2 (from E-Infinity). I know it sounds stupid but I’m still a student who doesn’t make money with filmmaking and just want to make sure I am making the right decision.

I saw some people talk about the V1 that it has, although very sharp, some vintage lens character (compared to Contax Zeiss), and wouldn’t want to lose that if I were to choose the newer for example.
