can I veil/wear the hijab if I’m atheist?

hey I’m 16, don’t believe in anything but since my hijabi friend have let me try on one of her hijabs I really liked how I look wearing it. She says it’s fine if I wanna wear it just bc I like how it looks but I wanna get more opinions on this topic. I just really don’t want to be disrespectful to someone by doing it simply as a fashion choice… Any opinions will be helpful xx
