It stops me from sprinting everywhere because I don’t want to look like an ATV tearing up mud, so jogging is more immersive. The cinematic effect of blood is pretty cool, but the best part is how NPCs become absolutely covered in mud. Random samurai camping? Covered to their shoulders in a solid mud layer. Taro especially, boy looks like he crawled straight from a swamp he’s covered in mud head to toe except for his eyes.
