Am I crazy to think about doing a century at almost 8 weeks?
So cycling is my sport, though I am not currently as in-shape as I have been in the past. Usually chill mountain biking but I've been doing short (15-25 miles) weekend road rides the last couple months with my husband, and riding the indoor trainer a couple times a week. There is a fun cycling group in town that is planning a silly 100 mile social ride (the idea is for it to be fueled only by taco bell, but I wouldn't necessarily have to stick to that). They plan to go slow and probably take plenty of breaks (but that's still probably gonna be at least 10hrs out there). I really want to do it, not sure if I'm physically capable (worried about physically that much time in the saddle mostly), but there would be options to bail out early. But I also don't want to put the baby unnecessarily at risk either - but I'm thinking as long as I feel okay it's probably okay, and if I start to not feel okay I can stop? Am I crazy?
