Lore education PLS

Hello! I have just started to get into the resident evil lore and honestly I am starting to love the community. I just finished playing RE4 on my PS2 and I am currently saving up for a PS5 to play the remakes and the other games as well. However I find it a bit tricky to keep up with the lore , especially of the first games with the STARS squads and stuff . I have a good knowledge of the lore of re4 and a bit of re2 ( although the changes made in the remake lore-wise confuse me even more like the john-ada trope and how this change affects Luis' story in the 4th game ) . If some kind hearted devoted n e r d could project some of his wise knowledge to me , i would appreciate it a lot , since there are a lot of games to cover.
