CONFORMANCE TO OUTER STANDARDS AND RULES: HOW THE FALLEN BEINGS HAVE PROGRAMMED MANKIND TO LIMIT CREATIVITY AND PREVENT SELF-TRANSCENDENCE

The Ascended Master More: "What is it in you that truly yearns for freedom? It is what we have called the Conscious You because it is an extension of your I AM Presence. It is Spirit. And Spirit will always feel confined when it has to conform to matter. It cannot be any other way. But why is this so? Because Spirit has creative freedom.

Creative freedom is not the same as having the freedom to do anything you want according to a set of rules defined in the world of form. For do you not see that the rules are defined by a certain form, and once you accept them as rules, you cannot change the form? The form is locked in a matrix, and as long as you believe in the rule, the form cannot be transcended. But Spirit is not created to be locked in form. Spirit is created to create form and to continue to create form by learning from its previous expressions of its creative powers to create a form that is more than what it created previously.

Do you not see that creativity – the creative drive of Spirit – is to create form but then not to be locked in that form for an extended period of time, but to use the experience it gained creating the first form to create a form that is more? And it is in doing this – in creating, learning, and then creating more – it is in doing this that you grow in self-awareness. This is the purpose of life. This is how life progresses: through the creative process.

What the false teachers have done is make people believe that they should kill their creative drive. When you are seeking to conform to rules, you are not being creative. You cannot be creative by conforming to rules that are defined based on form because then you cannot transcend the form. And how can you be creative without transcending the form that exists now? It cannot be done. It is not creativity.

The false teachers have created this false standard – this false belief – that says that in order to enter heaven you must conform to a set of rules that are defined by this ultimate authority, such as the angry god in the sky promoted by the three monotheistic religions now for thousands of years. Even the very similar image promoted by materialistic science that there are invariable laws of nature. Yes, there are laws of nature.

There are creative principles used by the Creator. But you can learn to use those principles in ever more creative ways to create something that raises the whole. This is creativity whereas defining the laws of nature or the laws of God as a straightjacket that shuts down your creativity—well, this is not creativity. This is the consciousness of death that Jesus talked about. It is not the consciousness of Life, the Christ Consciousness that seeks to raise all life."
