LiquidMetal Expands its Operations

There is a lot happening at LiquidMetal and I believe it’s preparing for liftoff. In summary of the new blog post on the LiquidMetal site, there will be 2 staff in the new Hangzhou plant (one that came over from BYD, the other Yihao), while the other two are for USA Corporate office. It’s curious that LQMT is able to attract that caliber of employee at this early stage of the game. I believe they didn’t come to the company on a wish and prayer, but that substantial business is about to land. Is it the hinge assembly for Apple as Kuo has rumored, or something else? Prof. Li is known for not wasting money, so the new product, whatever it is, means that he believes the incoming revenue will cover costs.

These are all key positions: Director of Operations and General Manager of Manufacturing for Hangzhou, and a Director of IT infrastructure and Marketing Director for the USA Corporate team.
