IN-HOUSE PRODUCER ROLE AT A MEDIA START UP (NIGERIA)

Rocksteady Productions is a growing creative startup based in Lagos, Nigeria. We’re building a small but ambitious team focused on creating smart, entertaining, and distinctly Nigerian content — from talk shows and variety formats to short-form series and podcasts.

We’re looking for an In-House Producer who can manage the full production process — from concept development to final delivery. The ideal person is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment where things move fast and ideas evolve quickly.

The Role: You’ll be the bridge between creativity and execution. That means:

Managing productions from idea to shoot and final edit.

Working closely with writers, directors, and editors.

Keeping projects on time, within budget, and up to standard.

Ensuring everyone (and everything) stays in sync.

Problem-solving when things go sideways

Work setup: Hybrid (mostly remote + in-person when needed on the Island)

Pay range: ₦1,000,000 – ₦1,500,000 monthly (depending on experience)

We think you’ll fit if you:

Have 3–5 years experience in production (film, TV, or digital content).

Know your way around set life, post-production, and project coordination.

Are organized but also thrive in creative, fast-moving environments.

Understand Nigerian pop culture and storytelling.

Are resourceful, proactive, and great with people.
