The problem with mastering the collision of the human body.
Hello, I am having significant difficulty mastering the “body collision” feature. I have just started learning Blender, and initially everything was going well, and I was able to create a ‘jelly’ cube according to the guides, which really behaved like “jelly” when it fell. But then the problems started when I switched from the “cube” to the “human body.” I wanted to make the buttocks physics work, but nothing works. Here are the steps I took (the same ones I took before when I managed to make the “jelly cube” physics work):
1 – I selected the human body mesh and went to the “physics” tab, where I selected “soft body.”
2 – I unchecked “goal” and checked “edges,” “stiffness,” and “self collision.”
3 – Next, I created a regular “cube” (so that it would simply interact with the buttocks as a surface) and enabled the ‘collision’ section in the “physics” tab.
4 – Then I selected the human body mesh again, right-clicked on the body, and selected “shade smooth.”
5 – Then I simply made a simple animation in the timeline where the cube touches the buttocks. But after starting the animation, Blender starts to go crazy, freezes, and the human body simply disappears.
Can anyone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?
