New to android devices, seeking help!

Hello everyone,
I've used anbernic devices before but I've never used an android device.
I've ordered an AYN Thor that should arrive on friday and was wondering if you could recommend me an up to date guide on how to do the initial setup (obviously no roms requested, just want to get the general setup going so I'm ready for when the device arrives)

Thank you very much!
