Main issue is the (lack of) flow
I hear constantly how map size is a main problem of BF6, but I honestly think it is much more about the flow which is just completely off and a cod-copy at this point. What do I mean with that:
- Most times there is a completely lack of a "logical flow" of people. Rather, people move all over, in all directions, between spawns that are much too close and intense.
- At most times, enemies can come from any place, and multiple times per game you spawn in front of one or multiple enemies and just become a free kill.
- This lack of flow also means the tactic to play in 80% of scenarios is basically just a slide-rush-jump assault & medic-team with no logical tactics or strategies what so ever - something that has long set bf apart.
- Adding to this is the constant spawns - its extremely seldom you ever have to wait more than 5 sec to be in the center of a fight. On multiple maps, it's hard to even step back a sec to reload before 3 guys show up behind you.
- What it further means, is that medics don't take time to rezz people, and even more frustrating, when you play a medic, is people next to you don't even wait to get rezzed, they rather skip it to spawn closeby and rush-slide-jump in again.
- What it also means, is some weps / classes are extremely overplayed where some have multiple maps they just add little to no value
I really like BF, have played it since it first came around, but I honestly find it to play way too much like a cod-copy for kids with diagnoses at this point, losing a lot of what made bf into bf. I still enjoy it, and play it, dont get me wrong, but I notice myself getting both tired and frustrated way more than usual.
Would love to hear your thoughts and reflections
