Voice chat not working in game

Was trying to use voice chat in game with my friends but I couldn’t hear them (even tho their mic sound indicator was showing) and my mic wasn’t working, no indicator even coming up.

There’s nothing wrong with my mic as party chat works fine, I’ve played around with the setting but still no luck, any suggestions?
