Halloween in Newcastle

So I’m coming to Newcastle for Halloween night to go clubbing with my gf who moved there recently, I was going to dress up specificially as choso. But I don’t know wether uni students do that or if I’ll turn up to clubs and look weird, anyone who’s been out for Halloween know?
