Anyone here who’s postdoc careers ended because of mental health issues?

What did you do next? My STEM research career ended abruptly after resigning because of severe anxiety and depression. I’m 41, working part-time, zero-hours contract job. Things really did not turn out as expected. Can’t even get a research tech job and I guess I’m wondering if this has happened to others and whether you found an alternative path.
