Need destination recommendations for Asia, please

I'm planning a trip where I would like to relax in a resort pool-side or beach-side.

When: December or January

Where: Anywhere in Asia except Thailand (already visited)

Ideally I'd like a place where I can feel safe. Not just safe from crime, but also health-wise. Where I wouldn't have to worry much about disease-carrying mosquitoes or contaminated food.

If you have specific hotels/resorts to recommend, I'd appreciate it.
