Ick’s premarital sex-capades

I’m wondering how Ick justifies having sex with these different Brazilian women before they are actually married, especially as it seems the Merrifields’ main impulse in living polygamy is “a calling from God.” it seems that a lot of polygamists, like on Sister Wives, and fundamentalists like on Welcome to Plathville, don’t even allow kissing until at the altar. Has Ick ever broken this down for us? I’ve watched since the beginning and can’t recall.
